Appointed as an Assistant Professor at IIT Roorkee!

In June 2023, Dr. Ashish returned back to his motherland and joined the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Joined as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at NTU Singapore!

After completing PhD, Dr. Ashish moved to Singapore and joined TeraX Lab at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies, Nanyang Technological University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He worked with Prof. Ranjan Singh to explore the exciting field of electronic-photonic integrated circuits for 6G THz communication devices.

Press Release: Electricity-Free Passive ‘Radiative Cooler’

Dr. Ashish Kumar Chowdhary and Prof. Debabrata Sikdar from IIT Guwahati designed an electricity-free and affordable 'Radiative Cooler' coating material, which is an alternative to the air conditioning system. The coating material can be applied on rooftops and functions both in day and night to dump extra heat into space.
